Brummana High School has been living its motto 'I Serve' for 138 years. We
have welcomed many thousands of students who have joined us to benefit from
academic excellence amid the Lebanese natural beauty of our campus. And now, for
the past seven years this opportunity has been made available to many more of
your children with the opening of the Brummana High School Summer Camp. Children
from all over the world and neighbouring countries come to enjoy our wide range
of activities, campus and traditional Lebanese hospitality. We believe in living
life to the full- each year we make the Brummana High School Summer Camp a
dream come true for your children.
An Unrivalled Campus
Our campus is located in Brummana at 800 meters above sea level, 20 km from Beirut
International Airport. Our spacious grounds have beautiful scenic views, traditional
Lebanese architecture, and shady trees. The extensive facilities include a football
and athletics field, an outdoor swimming pool, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts,
and a climbing wall. The cooler mountain air makes outdoor activities pleasurable, even in
the summer months.
Our Boarding
Boarding fees include full board, laundry, all outside trips and activities, use
of the swimming pool after Day Camp hours, afternoon and weekend outings and activities
(rafting, caving, sea trips, boat trips, cinemas...), 24-hour accident insurance, and 4 hours
of optional academic tuition each week. Extra activities such as paintball, horseback riding,
banana boats, rafting, tennis, and water and disc skiing may be arranged at an additional cost.
Coached swimming is available, after Day Camp hours, at no extra cost.
An International Ambiance
Campers at BHSC travel from all corners of the world to be together on our Summer Camp,
giving a truly international ambiance.
Total supervision
BHSC only offers programmes taking place under total supervision and this is reflected by
our enviable safety records. During free time between activity periods and evening meals
our campers are always supervised by staff. This supervision of course extends throughout
the night time, and to excursions and village leaves when our staff are never far away.
BHSC means total 24 hour supervision.
Lodging
BHSC is a co-ed camp where boys and girls share all kinds of activities, but lodge in
different dormitories.
Registration of Boarding Students
To register, boarders need a completed Boarding Summer Camp Application Form, a completed
Health Form (for non-BHS students), a copy of valid medical insurance (if available),
2 passport photos, and a photocopy of his/her ID card or passport.
NB: Arrival Of Boarding Campers on their first day at camp is always after 3:00 p.m.
