Parents' Information
A - BOOKING INFORMATION
After receiving booking confirmation for your child, please note:
- BHSC 2012 day camp application has to be completed.
- We provide optional transportation from your home to the school and vice versa for an extra fee.
- On arrival, we will need the camper or the parents, the camper’s ID or photocopy of passport and 2 passport photos.
B - PAYMENT INFORMATION
The total fees should be included with the completed application form.
- For your convenience we offer a variety of payment methods:
- By non-Lebanese Banker’s Cheque (payable to Brummana High School including $10 to cover bank charges on these cheques)
- By cash or any Lebanese Bank’s cheque with no extra charges.

C - INSURANCE
Accident insurance is provided by BHSC2012 to all campers when they are under BHSC SUPERVISION.
- In case of illness, BHSC 2012 secures school doctor’s fees, although any medical treatment is at the parent’s or guardian’s expense.
- A nurse are on fulltime duty and school doctor is always on call.
D - RULES AND REGULATIONS
- MAKING A BOOKING All bookings are made with BHSC 2012 officers at the BHSC 2012 Registration Office.
- No contract exists until the BHSC officers have received a signed Application Form and full payment receipt is issued
- No additions, deletions, changes or promises may be made relating to these conditions except in writing by director of BHSC.
- PAYMENT, CANCELLATION, AND REFUND POLICY
- NO REFUND WILL BE MADE FOR ANY REASON ONCE THE PROGRAMME HAS STARTED. If cancellation is made before the start of the session, 50% of the whole payment will be returned.
- No reimbursements are made for late arrivals or early departures, regardless of the reasons unless covered by insurance purposes.
- PARENT’S RESPONSIBILITY
- Damage caused, whether wilful or not, to facilities, equipment, clothing or other property belonging to or leased by BHSC is the responsibility of the camper's parent. Parents will be billed for any damages.
- CHILDREN’S BEHAVIOUR
- Children, while under full supervision of BHSC 2012, are expected to comply with all Rules and Regulations. BHSC absolutely prohibits the use of alcohol and illegal drugs.
- BHSC reserves the right to send any camper home or to his/her parents, if in the opinion of BHSC officers, the child is incompatible with the general well-being of the camp, through his/her negligence of BHSC rules and regulations. In this case, no refund of camp fees will be considered.
- BHSC is not responsible for loss of the camper’s belongings.
- PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS
- BHSC reserves the right to use any photographs, art work, etc, of the campers in any of its future publications.
E - EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME
Our summer educational programme runs for six weeks from July 9, 2011 – August 17, 2011 in two sessions. Session 1 funs from July 9 – July 27 inclusive. Session 2 runs from July 30 – August 17 inclusive. Classes are given in the following subjects:
- English – placement tests determine the level.
- Arabic-placement tests determine the level.
- Mathematics- grade 6, grade 7, grade 8, grade 9.
- French – placement tests determine the level.
All classes meet for 2 hours each weekday (excepting Thursday) and are taught by qualified and experienced BHS teachers.
Students are encouraged to continue their studies for both sessions for maximum benefits.
A certificate of satisfactory completion is awarded at the end of the course.
Tuition fees:
LL 180,000 ($120) per session.
The following subjects are completed in single session for specified number of hours each week.
Sessions 1 run from 9 July- 27 July inclusive. Session 2 runs from July 30 – August 17 inclusive
- SAT I - Verbal and Math. (7 hours each week)
- Physics - I and II. (4 hours each week)
- Biology - I and II. (4 hours each week)
- Chemistry - I and II. (4 hours each week)
- Mathematics-Algebra I and Algebra II (5 hours each week)
All classes are taught by qualified and experienced BHS teachers.
Class timings will be confirmed at a later date, but students are advised science and SAT classes usually commence at 10:00am.
LL 180,000 ($120) per session for science classes.
LL 315,000 ($210) per session for SAT classes.
LL 225,000 ($150) per session for math classes.
